Our first marquee hired to the British Bird Watching Fair way back in 1991 was a simple pole marquee 6m x 12m ~ 72sq.m (20ft x 40ft ~ 800sq.ft), our notes at the time (we still have them in our booking diaries which go back to 1982!) said "Report to Mr Tim Appleton ~ Send best tent! may have some good jobs next year!". Little did we know that this was the start of an amazing working relationship between us that saw the Birdfair peak ~ pre Covid ~ to 57 clearspan and pole marquees totalling 14,612sq.m (157,300sq.ft)

Covid caused the end of Birdfair in its original format, and so in 2022 Global Birdfair was born, and we look forward to the next 30 years!

A combination of huge 25m wide pole marquees which offer the perfect cover for many traders from around the world, and clearspan marquees which, being more flexible in size and orientation, provide the more modern look for specialist exhibitors, lecture theatres, food courts and exhibition halls.

25m wide pole marquees

Our widest pole marquee, pretty much endless length. The natural layout of the internal king & queen poles enable the maximum number of trade stand areas.

15m Clearspan ~ 3m leg height

The worlds leading lens suppliers including Zeiss, Zwaroswski, Canon to name but a few, needed a large, high roofed clearspan marquee to showcase their products. So our widest clearspan marquee was installed with 3m leg height to provide enough height and space to allow these companies to shop fit out their designated areas

15m Clearspan

The main lecture marquee needs to seat over 500 spectators, to aid the AV presentations and guest speakers, unique white/black PVC roof sheets, gable end and side walls are used to creat a darkened zone which works perfectly

12m Clearspan

A very popular style and width used at Global Birdfair including the food court, including a large catering marquee, a top only café style seating marquee, a lecture marquee and specialist exhibitors/trade marquees.

9m Clearspan

Another popular width of marquee, used mainly for lecture marquees, these lecture marquee have blackout linings for the best AV presentation effects
