Leicester’s Abbey Park gets festival-ready with help from Kingsmead Marquees
This June, our team at Kingsmead Marquees was proud to deliver a standout feature for one of Leicester’s most iconic green spaces – a 25-foot custom-built bar at Abbey Park, designed to serve thousands of attendees throughout a packed summer schedule.
With major events on the horizon, including performances from Craig David, UB40, and the ever-popular Soul Sundays, the park needed a high-capacity, eye-catching bar solution to keep up with demand. Our experienced crew handled the entire build – from design and fabrication to on-site installation – ensuring it was sturdy, stylish, and ready to handle the summer crowds.
The bar’s spacious layout and sleek design complement the scenic surroundings of Abbey Park, while also offering functionality for event organisers and vendors alike. It's another great example of how Kingsmead can tailor custom event infrastructure for large-scale public gatherings.
